The super boosts & money back specials have developed something of a cult following among racing fans on social media. While some punters jokingly blame bet365’s Denise Coates when selections fail to deliver, most of the time they come in.
The first Daily Super Boosts for Cheltenham were launched in 2023. That year saw a split result for punters, with Constitution Hill landing the Champion Hurdle boost on day one and Galopin Des Champs winning the Gold Cup boost on the final day. However, Edwardstone and Shishkin both missed out during the middle of the week. A £10 stake on each boost would still have produced a profit of £12.50 across the four days.
Results improved significantly in 2024 when three of the four boosted selections were successful. State Man, Ballyburn and Grey Dawning all delivered for customers before Storm Heart failed to finish in the frame on Gold Cup day. Even with the final day disappointment, a £10 bet on each selection would have returned a £25 profit for the week.
The 2025 Festival proved more challenging. Short priced favourites Constitution Hill and Jonbon were both beaten earlier in the week before Fact To File provided the only winning boost in the Ryanair Chase. Hopes of finishing strongly were dashed when Galopin Des Champs, boosted to evens to win a third Gold Cup, was beaten by Inothewayurthinkin up the Cheltenham hill. A £10 bet on each boost that year would have resulted in a £10 loss overall.
Across the three Festivals there have been six winning Super Boosts and six that narrowly missed, leaving customers with a combined profit of £27.50 from £10 stakes.
With the 2026 Cheltenham Festival approaching, bet365 will again offer a Super Boost each day of the meeting. After the ups and downs of recent years, punters will be hoping the popular promotion delivers a few more winners during racing’s biggest week.
